Damascus steel is forged by mixing layers of 1095 high carbon steel and 15N20. This sword has approximately 400-520 layers in it creating a gorgeous pattern in the blade. Overall length of this sword is 21 inches and blade length is 15 inches. Handle is made of rose wood with fiber and brass spacers, guard and pommel is made in damascus steel. The roman sword comes with a genuine leather sheath with belt loop for easy to carry.
